She is an International Best-Selling Author, Mentor, Speaker and Founder of 50plusshadesofus, a platform created for people 50 and older to Show How Age Doesn’t End Seasons. From there was birthed Shades of Glory where Kimberly inspired women to share their seasons of promise, perseverance, and praise via her books and podcasts.

A lifelong learner, Kimberly has trained under some of the most influential and successful business leaders including Daymond John’s Success Formula; Dr. Venus Opal Reese’s Black Woman Millionaire Mentorship Program; Pam Perry’s Branding Accelerator Program; and Charlotte Howard’s Wealthy Women’s Inner Circle. Each has contributed greatly to her entrepreneurial journey to lead and find her voice. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and numerous certifications in Hospitality Management.

Kimberly was a guest speaker at the February 2022 Shawn Fair Leadership Experience Tour in the Detroit area. She guest spoke at the Wealthy Women’s Growth Con in Charleston, South Carolina in 2019 where she inspired others to share their stories utilizing her tools and resources. She also spoke virtually at the 2020 Wealthy Women’s Growth Con Summit. She appeared as a guest speaker on the Marketplace Connection with worship radio host Linda Hunt, author of “Amen Sister!” She has also been featured in the December 2020 edition of the Wealthy Women Magazine as Author of the Year as a contributing writer, having authored a solo book, completed an anthology, and co-author in two other book collaborations.

Her books include: “My Mother’s Keeper – A Daughter’s Struggle with Balancing Love, Care, and Protection for Her Mother Battling Dementia;” her Anointed for Change Chapter in “Unstoppable Gems;” her How Do We Define Success Chapter in “Wealthy Women Success Principles – How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be;” and her anthology “S.O.S.” Sharing Our Story…for God’s Glory.

Kimberly is married to her husband of nearly 30 years. Together they have two sons, and five grandchildren. She loves spending time with family and friends, bowling, reading, traveling, and volunteering in her community and being a servant-leader at her home church. Kimberly believes that life after 50 should be ‘Golden’ and as a purpose-driven mentor, is walking in that spirit of hope, gratitude, and determination.

She is excited to launch her 50 Plus Shades ‘Golden’ Mentorship Program that teaches women how to overcome fear, doubt, and insecurity so they can live with passion and achieve their God-given purpose.
